HPHH was started in a storage unit in the rural Eastern Plains region of Colorado. At that time there were little to no resources for struggling families and individuals residing there. In 2008 the organization incorporated as an official 501(c)(3) non-profit. At that time the organization expanded into a new facility donated by Mountain Springs Church.
Since 2008, the organization has grown to provide food and other life sustaining and changing resources to nearly 2000 people each month. The organization continues to grow and provide new and innovative ways to help heal and transform lives across the Pikes Peak and Eastern Plains region.
